A site assessment is a visit to your residence or business for the purpose of evaluating what sort of renewable energy systems may be practical at the location. Following the site assessment we can discuss with you whether your home is suitable for deploying solar electric, solar hot water, and/or solar air heat solutions.

The principal focus of the site assessment is measuring how much sunlight reaches the spot or spots where a solar installation might go. If a site has excessive shading, a solar system will not perform up to its capabilities. Because the sun's position does not remain constant throughout the year, our evaluation accounts for variations in the sun's path and angle year round- not just the shading that we might observe at the moment.

Prior to going on site we request utility bills for the home for the prior twelve (12) months. If you do not have a years worth of utility bills with your authorization we may be able to obtain them for you directly from your utility providers.
